A) Individual Performance Consulting - This is a no-brainer for any performer who wants to develop consistent confidence. If you're looking to take your performance to the next level, and know that you've only tapped your mental skills, this is what you're looking for. We will assess your current mental and emotional skills and then develop a progressive program for you. We identify and can pretty accurately predict what types AND when your most likely errors under pressure will occur (see Assessment). Typical areas of focus are: how to let go of mistakes (i.e., going to battle), "fears," "slumps," self-talk, energy management (pre-game jitters), and pre-performance routines.
B) Team Consultation - By consulting with coaches, executive management, support staff, and athletes/executives, we work with team visions, goals, team building, teamwork, cohesiveness, enhanced productivity, and more....
C) FOCUS programs include:
The primary goal of the FOCUS (finding our center using sport) programs are to enhance performers' ability to thrive under pressure.
FOCUS-mental conditioning: This program teaches sport performance coaches how deliver the essential mental skills that facilitate elite performance. Program delivery does not require additional coaching time, as the delivery of the mental skills are integrated within the athletes’ physical training program.
1) Credential your training facility to administer the FOCUS-mental conditioning program
2) Differentiate your facility to capture the growing market demand of mental conditioning
3) Become a credentialed FOCUS-coach
4) Develop complete athletes
FOCUS-golf: This program is a one-of-a-kind that develops the essential mental skills for golfers. If you play golf, we don't need to explain how important mental skills are. It's simple, to consistently play your best, you've got to consistenly think your best. This program has been designed to enhace the key mental skills for golfers to "get it done." The program is offered on-site at the The Lakes at El Segundo golf course. For more information on this 6-hour program, click here.
FOCUS-team: This program is designed for high school and college sport programs. The FOCUS program trains athletes in the essetntial mental skills to thrive under pressure (both ON and OFF the field) to include:

2) Coping with stress
3) Developing consistent confidence – Letting go of mistakes
4) Distraction reduction – Focus techniques
5) Energy regulation – Being able to perform under pressure
6) Alcohol and other drug education
Peer reviewed evaluations indicate participant increase in self-confidence, ability to let go of mistakes, and better energy management (pre-preformance jitters). We have also demonstrated a decrease in the likelihood of drug use for high school athletes. Cost of this seminar package (6 hours) is $2,500.00.
FOCUS-late night sports: This program is a sport-based life skills program for high school- and college-aged young adults. This program utilizes a combination of sport psychology and life skills interventions (goal setting, self-talk, coping strategies, and energy regulation) to improve participant’s ability to effectively handle pressure and to better resolve life conflicts. Dr. Gervais created the vision and development of Late Night sports with support from the South Bay Youth Project and the County of Los Angeles (alcohol and drug program administration). The program has been in operation since 1995 and has served over 25,000 athletes. To bring this program to your community, or to become a program sponsor, please contact us.
D) Leadership Development - For the past 10 years, with the support of community-based organizations and schools, we have designed a nationally recognized leadership development program, the Youth Advisory Committee. These students receive leadership training in a variety of ways: experiential learning (i.e., wilderness training), didactic education, and peer mentoring. If you are interested in developing a leadership development program, please contact us.
E) Injury Rehabilitation - Injury is one of the most significant obstacles for athletes. We know, we've been there too!
